FileMaker Themes – Don’t use Default styles!

When it comes to FileMaker Themes, just a little bit of knowledge can go a long way when you want to take full advantage of global styling. The fact that the Default styles establish the baseline for all child objects means you should probably create your own styles and not use the Defaults.     If I understand this correctly, what he's actually saying, is leave the Default styles as a base, then create a customized version of that default to use for your projects, along with a transparent version of the customized version when desired.
