Creating a useful FileMaker Pro database isn’t just about fields and data structure. It’s mostly about making something useful for the end user. As you structure your data, you often create situations where you need to either rethink the UI or work around the limitations of the environment. In this lesson we take a look at a common situation where there’s something in FileMaker which we don’t have direct control over so we need to create a work around in order to facilitate a more comfortable user interface.
We’ll use an OnObjectExit on our popover in order to address a UI glitch which happens when projects are made active and inactive.
