Successfully Debug Apex by Streaming Logs to Terminal | Developer Quick Takes

In this video, Mohith Shrivastava, a developer advocate at Salesforce, walks you through how to stream apex logs to the terminal using Salesforce CLI.

To tail logs on the terminal window, cd into your project workspace and type *sfdx force:apex:log:tail –color*

Debug logs in Salesforce can record database operations, system processes, and errors that occur when executing a transaction or running unit tests. The logs on your terminal can be handy to find all errors that occur during the transaction and if you want to watch for SOQL statements, debug statements, variable assignments, and much more.
